Unfortunately many 1999-2004 GEM Cars never had their DC Converters replaced under the factory recall. The parts to fix the faulty converters, which were subject to catching fire and part of a saftey recall, are no longer available from Polaris/WAEV - Leaving1999-2004 GEM owners in a difficult situation.
