For the increased top end performance for 1998-2015 GEMS, when used with a Ride-4-Fun HP motor.
The 8:1 gear set is only recommended in applications where top end performance is the primary goal and must be used in conjunction with a Ride-4-Fun Motor
Gear Kits For 1998-2015 GEM Cars 6:1 Gear Ratio - $529
For the most top end performance available, for 1998-2015 GEMS, when used with a Ride-4-Fun HP motor.
Only to be used in applications with flat terrain - not to be used in "hilly applications".
Speedometer Calibrattion Module For 2005-2015 GEMs - $259
There are several things that could effect the accuracy of your 2005-2015 GEM car speedometer - Adding taller tires/wheels, upgrading to a high performance motor, changing gearing, etc. Regardless of the reason, the Speedometer Calibration Module (SCM) will allow you to easily restore speedometer accuracy, even in GEM cars modified for speeds up to 40MPH.
​
The SCM is a plug in component and is very easily installed in minutes and is quickly configured to dial-in an accurate GEM car speedometer reading.
​
NOTE - The SCM is included, at no additional cost, in the purchase of a 2005-2012 Motor Kit, 2013 Motor Kit, and the 2014-2015 Motor Kit.
T1 to T2 Controller Conversion Harness Kit - $129
T1 Controllers have been discontinued and due to their age they can no longer be reliably rebuilt.​

For GEM owners with T1 Controllers, a T2 Conversion is the solution. If you can obtain a known good working T2 controller, great - all you need is the T1 to T2 Conversion Harness Kit.
​
If your in need of a T2 Controller, these can be purchased from Ride-4-Fun, along with the T1 to T2 conversion harness kit.

T1 to T2 Complete Conversion Package - $1,499
T1 to T2 Complete Conversion Package Includes a New T2 controller, controller programming, Performance tunning (if equipped with R4F HP) motor, transferring & restoring required/critical operating parameters/settings from your T1, and T1 to T2 Conversion Harness Kit.

For converting GEM Cars equipped with discontinued T1 controllers to T2 Controllers. The T2 is a superior design to the T1 controller and works great in performance applications and adds reliability in all applications.
GEM Car Controller Speedometer Upgrade - $299
Once again have an accurate speedometer in your 2006 and newer GEM car after upgrading your GEM with high performance parts.

Now an easy fix to the "1/2 Speed" readings on some GEM cars after a performance motor upgrade. An easy upgrade to having accurate 40+ MPH readings on your factory dash speedometer.

A core is required and must be sent to Ride-4-Fun after your order is processed.

Because the most common cause of speed sensor failure is the result of a broken speed sensor magnet, our speed sensor kit includes a replacement magnet. Our speed sensor kit comes in 2 configurations, depending upon the magnet that's currently installed in your GEM car.
If your speedometer reading is fairly accurate, you'll need the "8" pole magnet speed sensor kit.
If your speedometer reading is 1/2 of your actual speed, you'll need the "4" pole magnet speed sensor kit.
Ride-4-Fun Motor Bumper - GEM Car Resilient Bumper Diff to Motor - $12

If the bumper from your old motor is heavily worn or was damaged upon removal, you should consider a new bumper for smooth ad quiet motor operation.
